PARTNERSKÁ ŠKOLA Z LOTYŠSKA ZNOVU NA SUPŠ!

From May 8th to 19th, 2023, our school will host 3 teachers and 7 students from our partner institution — the Secondary School of Art, Music and Design in Liepāja, Latvia. As part of the Erasmus+ program, KA1 project, a short-term mobility for students and teachers will take place, this time focusing on the fields of photography, graphic design, and ceramics.

The students will acquire new skills in their areas of study and expand their competencies not only in their professional fields, but also in language, communication, digital literacy, and other soft skills.

Over the course of 14 days, they will learn how to work with a camera obscura, light a studio and still life scenes, take photos both indoors and around Uherské Hradiště, and use analog cameras. In graphic design, they will engage in screen printing, various etching techniques, experimental methods, and drypoint. Ceramic students will design, model, and fire Raku ceramics.

Both teachers and students will share best practices from their fields between the two schools.
