Multimedia arts – is the newest department of the school. During studies students experience and learn to use various multimedia tools. Students expand, develop and explore their knowledge and skills in computer technologies. The course develops students creative and practical skills in graphic design, visual advertising, packaging design, 3D graphics, traditional and digital animation, audio-visual production, digital photography and web design. Independent creative approach is encouraged, and students form a relationship with all forms of visual art, both in multimedia and the field of advertising as well.
GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduates of the department have a wide range of employment options. They can work in the multimedia production as well as in the production of computer games, computer and classic animation, static and animated spatial reality and film clips. They are also able to create websites, printed materials or multimedia educational presentations. They can then continue to study in colleges majoring in multimedia production, photography, film and television production or graphic design.

STUDENT WORK
Entrance examination
Applicants must submit their application to study at the Secondary School
of Applied Arts in Uherské Hradiště by November 30th.
The entrance exam consists of a general talent test and another part of the
admission procedure in the department chosen by the applicant. As a part of the
admission procedure, in addition to the result of the applicant's talent test,
the students ´ primary school grades are considered as well.

All applicants need to bring their own painting tools; the poster paper will be
provided at school.
The time allowance for the task is 2 hours.
COURSE EXAM

Presentation of one's own previously created work in the range of max.
20 pieces. The portfolio must also be submitted in digital form in jpg format (the size
of the longer side is 2000px and 72dpi) and marked with the name:
surname_name_number, under which the candidate is taking the exam_year of
the exam.

The portfolio and the digital documentation must be submitted on the
day of the exam (on a USB drive that will be returned to the applicant on the
same day).
Without the required digital documentation, this part of the admission
procedure will not be considered fulfilled.

LUCIE HECHT NAVRÁTILOVÁ
A native of Olomouc, a graduate of FAMU (Film Academy of Performing Arts in Prague). Her artistic scope is very wide. In the workshop of Tonička Janková and Jan Daňhel, she mainly worked on student films. As an editor, she participated in a number of documentary and film and television works. In addition to editing, she has also been involved in the creation of author's experimental films. In 2017, her film collage Konzerva (Can) won the award for Best Czech Experimental Film at the MFDF film festival in Jihlava. In 2019, her animated film Flying the kite premiered at the Berlinale festival. During her internship in Montreal, she worked alongside famous experimental filmmakers Karl Lemieux, Alexandre Larose and Steven Woloshen. She graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Uherské Hradiště in 2014.
ANTONÍN KINDL
Born in Francova Lhota, a visual artist, graphic designer, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, a member of the team of creative multimedia studio 32b. During his secondary school studies, he was actively involved in a number of projects. He contributed in an original way to the creation of the non-traditional design of the tire pattern for the exhibition Continental Barum Fun Patterns. His tire pattern was inspired by the classic Japanese drama Nó together with the art of Asian calligraphy. Kindle constantly explores possible options of graphic design and experiments in the field of visual arts. He graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts and Crafts in 2019.
PROKOP FINDEIS
Born in Havlíčkův Brod, a graphic and motion designer, an artist, a 3D and web designer, student of the digital art studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. While still at secondary school, he and his classmates documented the Days of Truth European Championship in cowboy action shooting. He created graphic haptic maps of Uherské Hradiště. He is currently a member of the team of creative multimedia studio 32b. He makes graphic models , creates particle simulation, animation, produces rendering in 3D. He likes to work with new software, is interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning, which he sees as a great option in situations with data constantly changing. He graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Uherské Hradiště in 2019.
